Jake’s Pre-school Orientation

Pre-school Orientation Pictures
I am a little slow getting this up. I will tell you why at the end. Last Thursday, Jake had Pre-school orientation. He loved it! He felt so comfortable because he has played in the pre-school room before. He is going to Silver Pups Pre-school at Riverton High School. His grandma Camille runs the program that the high school kids enroll in. Then the high school students become the teachers. He loved playing with his “church friends” at school. There are 4 kids from our ward that are going. He was telling everyone what to do and then trying to interrupt grandma. So I really hope that it goes well with him and his grandma. Mom says that she will just tell one of the high school students to get after Jake so she is not the mean one. But he is way excited. He will be going 4 days of the week. He actually had another orientation Friday that we missed because Thursday was a crazy night.
I was carrying Josh downstairs to get some food for dinner and fell. After a few hours of pain, Kurt made me go to InstaCare. I tore the meniscus around my knee and will probably have to have surgery. It is the padding between the upper leg bones and the lower leg bones. I have a huge bruise on my bottom and can’t walk very good. When the swelling goes down then an orthopedic surgeon will look at it and decide what to do. Right now I have to stay off it, ice it, and wear a brace to keep things in place. After my appointment we went to drop off my prescriptions at Harmon’s. As we were waiting Kurt said let’s go over to Chik-fil-a and get some ice cream to eat in the car. As we were ordering Jake started throwing up all over the backseat. We told the lady we were not going to order anything and we needed to leave. We didn’t want to wait for all the other cars to pull out so we ended up going over a curb median to get out. Jake was up all night throwing up. So Kurt was really busy trying to take care of him, not bump the bed, and take care of Josh when he woke up to eat. Poor guy now know what it feels like somewhat to be a mom and take care of the sick.
