Happy Easter!

We have had a fun Easter weekend. There are pictures and video to the right. We dyed eggs with my mom on Thursday. She took more pictures with her camera since I was busy with Jake. So I need to get those and add them. Jake loved doing the eggs. He has been reading a story about Eggbert so he was very excited to make some colored eggs. He really like writing names on them.

On Saturday, my grandma had her annual egg hunt. Jake got to find lots of candy filled eggs. Then he got to play with my cousin’s kids, which he just loves doing. Josh was asleep during the hunt so no pictures of him.

This morning we woke up to find treats from the Easter Bunny. Jake got some movies, a church book, candy, a magic coloring book, and a fishing game. Josh got some sippy cups and puffs to eat. He tried some juice this morning and wasn’t sure that he liked it. He just wanted his bottle again. Kurt got some candy and a game. And I got a movie and some candy.

Then it was time to go to church. The boys looked so cute in their spring vests. Jake sang with the primary kids and he knew all the words. I am always impressed, he doesn’t want to sing for FHE and says that he doesn’t know any church songs but then he gets up and sings with the other kids. Kurt and I also sand with the choir.

This afternoon we made a ham for dinner. My mom came over to spend time with us playing games and watching movies. We have had a great day!
