Josh’s 1st Birthday

Josh celebrated his first birthday. During the day we just did our normal routine. At night my mom and Grandma Carol came over to watch him open presents. He got so many fun things. He got a new outfit, frog puppet, and stacking barrels from Grandma and Grandpa D. A farm struck with animals, teddy bear, book, and blanket with tags from Grandma Camille. 5 little trucks from Jake. Jake picked them out all by himself and was so excited to give them to Josh. Jake kept telling people what he got for him at the store before we opened them. We gave him a Jungle Activity Center. It took Jake and Kurt a while to get it put together (it always takes longer when you have a helper). When we were opening gifts Jake just couldn’t resist helping Josh and we had to keep reminding him it was not his birthday. Josh had to take time to play with each gift as he opened them. After putting together all the toys and playing we started doing cake and ice cream. Jeff showed up right before we did cake. I made Josh a sailboat cake. He needed help blowing out his candle which Jeff couldn’t resist doing. Josh ate all of his cake and had it all over him. After baths then Rob and Aubrey dropped by for a few minutes. Josh had a great day. We love him so much and are glad that he is a part of our family! Pictures to the right.
