Church Cleaning

For Family Night we signed up to go as a family and help clean the church. Before we left we talked about service and that we were going to the church to help clean it so it would look nice on Sunday for us and those in our ward. Jake was just glad that he didn’t have to put on his church clothes. When we got there he asked what we wanted to do and I said something that the kids can help because it was part of our lesson. He assigned us the Chapel and Cultural Hall. Jake thought it was so fun to walk up and down the pews and dust them. He was soon joined by his friend who also helped. Josh helped a little with his duster. When we were leaving Jake said that this was the best Family Night ever and that he wanted to clean the church every week. Now, if only he would put that much effort and excitement into cleaning his room! Pictures to the right.
