Mother’s Day
Mother’s Day was a little bit of a blur. Josh was sick with tonsilitis and a fever for 4 days. It is not common for little kids to get it and the nurse said it was the worst case she had seen in a small child. I had been up so much with him and worrying about the Teacher Appreciation Week that I was in charge of that week that I wasn’t feeling that great either. So Josh and I stayed home and snuggled on the couch. Kurt did bring me home a piece of pie that was served to all the women in Relief Society. Kurt and Jake also wrote a nice note to me (My present was part of my Anniversary gift the week before- flowers and a pressure cooker). Jake also made a handprint flower at school that he gave to me. Then Kurt invited my mom over and made dinner for us (with some help). He made schnitzle and I made rice in the pressure cooker. It was so good. We spent the day relaxing and getting better.
