Boating Trips

I was waiting to post this hoping that there was one more boating trip for the summer. But, now as we are getting close to starting school I am not sure if that last trip is going to happen. In the end of July we went down to Las Vegas and Lake Mead for a few days. We went out to the lake for two days. It was hot and we spent most of the time in the water trying to cool off. My sister and her family came from Oregon and my brother flew in from Texas. It was fun to have most of the family together (we were just missing my other brother who had to work). Jake went tubing with his cousin Sydney and they could have done that all day. Josh would only sit on the platform and put his legs in until we made him get all the way in to cool off. We got to go to a new casino called the Aliante and like always to the Beliago gardens and Red Rock. We also went down to Treasure Island and saw the pirate show that has been there for a few years that we have never seen.

Our second trip was to Bear Lake with some families that I grew up with. Kurt had to work so it was me with the boys and my parents. This time Jake had no one to compete with for swim time instead of wakeboard/ ski time. He swam and swam so much. I did make him try to ski a few times. He got up once standing on my feet and we skied for about 5 seconds before he jumped off. Next year he will have the idea down for sure then he can try on his own.

I didn’t take too many pictures since boating is something we do alot. But we did get a few and some video of Jake in the tube to the right.
